A wonderful 19th century folk art watercolour depiction of life outside the Rands & Brumhead Brewery in Hull.
The brewery did exist in Hull during the mid 19th century. We have been unable to find out when it closed, but imagine that this scene dates to circa 1860.
Signed 'Hudson' in lower corner.
Original frame and mount.
Hand written note on back reads 'This picture is the property of R. Glennow?'.
